I turned my first ring from WildWood Design last night. Used a size 11 titanium ring kit with cherry wood using the ring mandrel from this site as well. It looks amazing and was a simple process, even considering I'm a fairly inexperienced turner. The mandrel worked very well. I will definitely be buying more kits from this site.

hi y'all, writing from Texas to thank you for prompt shipping on my new expandable ring mandrel. i am an amateur bowl turner, pen maker, bone carver, and ring maker. just tried the mandrel, awesome product, quality American made, i love it. after using a cork to try to turn down a ring and having to run it down after flying off the mini lathe, what a difference this mandrel has made, just after using it one time. no more chasing a ring down, it stays right where i put it. i highly recommend this product, wish i had found it much sooner, thanks again for a superior product idea.

I have been doing business with Eric for a couple of years and he has great quality products, fast shipping and great service when I need help. He is a great small U.S. business and it is fun and profitable to make products with his stuff.

Eric, you know where I stand with your product, but just in case there is anybody out there on the fence about taking on bangle making, I wanted to throw my two cents at them. NO MATTER YOUR ABILITY, Eric will help you. I bought my first core before he had all of the tutorials so I had many questions. Each question I had was addressed quickly and in depth as if I was his only customer. The product is solid, and instruction is great. He stands behind every aspect of his business and will help with whatever you need.

I ordered two copper bangle cores, two stainless bangle cores, one stainless ring, one titanium ring, two cholla cactus blanks, a ring mandrel on a Tuesday and received my complete order the following Monday.
I was EXTREMLY pleased with the quality of ALL products I received. Everything was as good as if no BETTTER then I expected!!!!!
There was also two surprised gifts thrown in (nice touch Eric).
Well got to go, excited to get going on these projects, but first I'm going to order some more titanium ring blanks
Thank you Eric for your instructional videos as well, with out those I probably would not have been that interested .

Hey buddy, just watched your ring video and found it very interesting. I still haven't used my vacuum chamber or pressure pot yet, but there aren't enough hours in a day it seems.
One of these days, I think it would be great to come and spend an afternoon in your shop to swap stories and learn from a pro. You are a great teacher!

I just ordered a ring core in Titanium and a few wood blanks. My ring size is 13.5 and 13 was the largest that you had to offer. Any suggestions on shaving a little off the ID of the ring if needed. I found your tutorials excellent and can't wait to get started on a new project that I hope will turn into many more in the future. Again, thanks for putting all that information out there for us diy ers.

Have you had any experience with Coracao de Negro.

I have some that has some great figure in it. It is very dark from dark brown to black. Lines and streaks of cream run through it. It is predominately dark though. It is extremely hard and, in some areas, brittle. When brittle, it will break along the long grain. Mostly, it cuts and sands well.

Does this wood need to be stabilized? I have made a few pens using it and it seems to work well. CA works fine on it.

I'm thinking about trying to make a bangle using it. Any thoughts?
